REC's upgraded partnership with Carbomat ECO UK aims to grow solar markets across Europe

A Norwegian firm has upgraded its partnership with a UK company to boost solar developments across Europe. Norway’s Renewable Energy Corporation (REC) has announced a platinum distribution partnership with the solar power solutions provider, Carbomat ECO, in the UK to grow solar markets across the country and the Benelux region.

The company from the Benelux region, will join the REC Partner Programme as Platinum Partners. This reflects their long term partnership with REC, an integrated player in the solar industry, as well as their strong sales growth, market development and the achievement of key partner objectives.

“The Benelux and UK region continue to be very attractive and important markets for REC”, said Jan Jacob Boom-Wichers, managing director, France, Benelux, UK and Ireland of REC Solar. “The addition of Carbomat ECO in the UK to the REC Partner Programme underlines our commitment to these markets.

"We are very excited to bring our partnership to the next level. We also welcome the opportunity to play a bigger role in the commitment of these countries to a sustainable and energy efficient future,” he added.

Eddy Mespreuve, general manager from Carbomat Eco, said: “We are delighted to have achieved platinum partner status in the UK; it recognises our passion and determination to grow the REC brand in the UK market. In a challenging marketplace, Carbomat and REC strive to provide customers with high quality, excellent yield performance and competitive prices.”
