REC announces Gold partnership with FoturSol for long-term commitment

REC has updated its partnership with solar energy solutions provider FoturSol

A Norwegian energy company has updated its partnership with a solar firm in Switzerland. Renewable Energy Corporation (REC), the largest European supplier of solar modules, based in Norway, has announced a Gold distribution partnership with the Swiss solar energy solutions provider FoturSol.
The company from Switzerland joins the REC Partner Programme as a Gold Partner – reflecting its commitment to a long-term partnership with REC, by ensuring solid sales growth while maintaining a strong market position. FoturSol has worked with REC since 2008, distributing approximately 80 MW of REC modules, mostly throughout Switzerland, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic.
Gonzalo de la Viña, managing director of REC Solar Germany GmbH, said: “Germany, Austria and Switzerland continue to be very attractive and important markets for REC. The addition of FoturSol in Switzerland to the REC Partner Programme underlines our commitment to these markets and desire to grow together with our partners.

“We are very excited to bring our partnership with FutorSol to the next level and to develop a mutually strong relationship to achieve success,” he said.
Peter Christen, a member of the Board of Directors at FoturSol, added about the partnership with the largest European supplier of solar modules: “With REC, we have a partner who is influenced by European thinking. The REC Partner Programme offers solar distributors and large installers membership based on both business and qualitative criteria such as revenue, training capabilities and marketing strength. REC’s portfolio of partner services and tools will enable the company to provide customers with special access to products and support.
