Chinese wind power company, Longyuan Power said on Thursday in Beijing that it has completed installing five wind turbines on a wind farm located in Nagqu prefecture in Southwest China's Tibet autonomous region, according to China Daily.

French firm Voltalia has confirmed plans to construct three wind farms in Brazil totalling 90MW. The company will develop the wind farms in Areia Branca and Sao Miguel do Gostoso in the Rio Grande do Norte region of Brazil, which will each have a minimum of 30MW capacity.
